Rob McDonald is RSM US LLP's national technology sector tax leader. 

Rob has over 28 years of experience providing services to both public and privately held companies. He has experience in federal and state taxation, including corporate acquisitions and dispositions, tax accounting methods, and international taxation.

Rob has extensive experience in accounting for income tax, including financial statement disclosures, accounting for stock-based compensation and analysis of uncertain tax positions under Accounting Standards Codification Topic 740.

Rob also leads the firm’s technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) industry practice for tax.

Prior to joining RSM, Rob was a partner at a regional accounting firm and a senior tax manager for a large independent tax firm in Boston.
